When we’re afraid, we’re not just losing our minds

A group of psychologists has published a paper suggesting that we might actually be more afraid of ourselves than we think.

The paper, published in the journal Psychological Science, looks at how people can act in a certain way, such as over time, to reduce their risk of developing anxiety disorders.

We asked whether this can actually happen, and if so, what we can do to make sure we don’t become so fearful of ourselves.
