Partizan Moscow will be facing a tougher task in the Europa League after being beaten 3-1 at Stade de France by Atletico Madrid.
Sampémento and Siena, two of the three most successful clubs in the history of the competition, will play in the first leg of their semi-final, which takes place on Thursday.
A win for Atletico would see them advance for the first time in Europe since 1992.
The result would see the Blues take the Champions League places at the top of the table for the third successive season, following an incredible run to the quarter-finals in 2009-10 and 2011-12.
A victory for Stade will see them move on to the group stage for the second consecutive season.
